player-emergence-v2

Find the role.
Before the points.

The Emergence Board looks for players whose verified opportunity, efficiency, prospect evidence, depth path, and offensive environment can create the next fantasy role. It is deliberately separate from player OVR and team strength.

SCORE KEY

Current performance comes first

Current grade measures qualifying production recorded this season against position peers, with sample adjustment. It is not complete football ability. Without qualifying current evidence, a clearly labeled forecast estimate remains visible. Defensive assignments and individual blocking require additional evidence.

Current gradeThis season's observed production
Recent productionOpponent and sample adjusted
Forecast OVRSeparate longer-term estimate
Team impactSeparate roster and availability input
DIRECTIONAL SIGNALNot a fake probability

No breakout percentage is published until walk-forward calibration earns one.

322 CANDIDATESOne shared receipt

Fantasy, team, and player pages read from this same immutable model snapshot.

KNOWN BLIND SPOTSADP and route growth

Play-caller context is live for every candidate; TE usage can move production after validation, while other positions remain uncertainty-only.

EARLY SIGNAL LEADERS

Top opportunity signals

This ranks paths to new fantasy value, not the best current NFL players. Established stars are removed from the board.

POSITION BOARDS

Every fantasy role has a different path

QB opportunity is scarce; reserve backs and receivers can rise through packages, injuries, and target-share movement.

MODEL WEIGHTS

What moves the opportunity rank

  • 30% verified role and current opportunity
  • 20% position-relative NFL efficiency
  • 15% verified prospect profile
  • 15% depth-chart path
  • 10% position-relevant team style
  • Play-caller transition: visible on every receipt; the separate season production layer activates a bounded TE adjustment only
  • 5% verified injury or availability catalyst
  • 5% ADP mispricing, currently unavailable and neutral
EVIDENCE LIMIT

What the score cannot claim yet

Preseason route participation, first-team snap acceleration, platform ADP, ownership, and waiver behavior are not present in this release. Missing inputs stay neutral instead of increasing the influence of the remaining inputs. Incomplete role evidence reduces score movement; neither the opportunity score nor evidence confidence is a breakout probability.
