How the preseason order works
Each source contributes a normalized score inside its published preseason window: 100 * (window size - rank + 1) / window size. An unlisted player receives zero for that source. The five scores are averaged and sorted. This is a source-consensus prior, not an NFSMELL ability grade or draft projection.
NEXT LAYER
What turns a watch into a projection
Weekly production, opponent strength, usage, role stability, age, injuries, athletic testing and position-specific evidence will build each file. NFSMELL will publish draft probabilities only after eligibility is verified and time-forward validation shows they are calibrated.
